HOLYOKE — Holyoke Media is planning an October open house at its state-the-art media center and soundstage. With construction nearly finished, work soon will turn to installing technical equipment.

Scott McPherson, Holyoke Media’s executive director, said the brick façade building previously at 23 Suffolk St. was home to Gleason’s Townhouse and the Holyoke Office of Planning and Economic Development.
