The "Opportunities Incorporated Invitational Golf Tournament" will be on September 11 and 12 at the Texarkana Country Club.

This will be the 33rd Annual Opportunities, Inc. Invitational Golf Tournament. This particular event has raised over $2.5 million to help provide services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and the elderly. The tournament will be at the Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Arkansas.

This is what Opportunities Incorporated had to say about the upcoming tournament and its illustrious history:

Over 25 years ago, Senator David Pryor, who has been a friend to many, including Opportunities, suggested that we do a “little” golf tournament to benefit the children and adults served by this organization. Since that time, over $2.5 million has been raised from this event!

In this format of golf, each player hits from the tee box and then they select the best shot from all that were hit. This format makes for a fun tournament and faster play especially if there is a large number of players.
